More information on step 1: "Describe task or project"
Suitable projects
A project can be everything that you want a provider to do: A new web page, a search engine optimization, a logo for a new shop, a translation of business terms, an illustration, a technical handbook, an ABAP program, a professional CAD construction, entry of 20,000 contact details, a research study - to name just a few.
Task/project description
Task or project descriptions can either be done in English or German and include the following elements (some are optional):
Description, objectives and general conditions of the task
Requirements the provider has to comply with like necessary skills, language ability, origin, time zone, availability
Project location: Is it expected that the provider works on-site or can the job be done off-site?
Conditions like type of contract (fixed price or effort), payment method and currency (Euro or USD)
Closing date for bidding and planned dates for project start and end
The task description can be translated almost automatically into the second language in order to attract an even larger number of providers.
Publication
Every project description will be published on MondayWorks immediately. However, it can be decided whether it is viewable by all providers, only companies or only after invitation by the buyer. Thus it can be easily controlled who has access to a project. The person who posted the project remains anonymous.
Contact providers
Once the project is posted providers can be invited to bid. The fields of the "Find Provider" form are already populated the requirements stated in the project description. Every provider selected in the list of results will be notified of your project by email. Inviting providers only takes a few minutes and is the easiest way to receive a large number of attractive quotes.
Queries/follow-up inquiries
If a provider needs more information or does not understand part of the project description, it is possible to ask questions in a dedicated project forum. The buyer will be notified about each new entry and can answer it. All questions and answers are visible to everybody. At this point in time providers have no possibility to contact buyers directly.
Cost
MondayWorks' services are completely free for all service buyers. Connecting with service providers, searching for specific skills, posting projects and receiving quotes - absolutely no cost. Also, there is no obligation to hire any service provider who makes a bid.
Our service is free for all service buyers because we earn money in a different way: Service Providers pay a commission between 7.5% and 15% of the money they earn through MondayWorks. In addition, providers have the opportunity to purchase a MondayWorks membership for a monthly fee.
